Most owners come to me with a problem that feels bigger than it is: “I'm working too much.” “I never have cash when I need it.” “I don't know if I'm actually making money.” Those all sound like different problems. They're not. In every service business I've worked with, whatever's actually wrong traces back to one of exactly five places — profit, cash flow, pricing, team & systems, or owner freedom. Once you know which one, the fix stops being a mystery and starts being a plan.
This page is the map. Five pillars, one honest question for each, and the resource built to answer it.
The five pillars, in plain terms
Profit — not revenue, not “business is busy,” but what you actually kept. A business can be growing and still be quietly broke, because growing and profitable are two different things nobody ever taught you to check separately.
Cash flow — the number that tells you how much room you have if income stopped tomorrow. Profitable businesses fold over cash timing more often than owners want to admit.
Pricing — whether your price is a decision or a habit. Most owners set a price once, out of fear, and never touch it again.
Team & systems — whether the business runs because of a system, or because of you standing in the middle of it answering every question. One of those scales. The other one burns you out.
Owner freedom — what your time is actually worth, and whether you're spending it on the hours that earn that rate or the hours that don't.
Here's the part I want you to sit with: you are almost certainly stronger in some of these than others. That's not a flaw, it's just true of every business I've ever looked at closely. The problem isn't that one pillar is weak — it's not knowing which one, and spending your energy fixing the wrong thing because it's the one that's loudest, not the one that's actually costing you the most.
